Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - praised and congratulated the achievements that trade unions at all levels, departments, branches, enterprises and all workers have achieved in the past time.
Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan suggested that trade unions at all levels promote emulation, develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions, especially in the non-state sector; proactively implement solutions to protect legitimate rights and interests, negotiate and sign collective labor agreements, contributing to improving workers' lives.
Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan also requested agencies, units and localities to step up propaganda and dissemination of laws on labor safety and hygiene; strengthen inspection and examination of labor safety, especially in high-risk areas; clarify the causes of labor accidents and strictly handle violations.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 enterprises with outstanding achievements in implementing occupational safety and hygiene work in 2024; the Provincial Labor Federation presented 90 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
