Salary increase - joy for workers

Salary increase, no matter how small or large, is a joy for employees. Because it means they will have more income to cover family life and work with peace of mind, improving work efficiency.

Income has improved significantly in the recent basic salary increase, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huynh Mai - lecturer at Can Tho Medical College - shared that in the context of escalating prices, the State's interest in increasing salaries and allowances is what makes civil servants, public employees and workers very excited.

According to Ms. Mai, salary is an inevitable issue, it is what takes care of family life. Once salary increases, family life is stable, workers do not need to spend too much time on earning a living and can devote all their efforts to work.

With excitement, Ms. Mai expressed: “Every industry has its own hardships and pressures. For the health sector, when having to deal with many risks and great work pressure, working in shifts, I really hope to continue to receive more attention from the State so that doctors and medical staff can work with peace of mind and contribute to the industry.”

After nearly 3 years working at Cai Rang District Medical Center (Can Tho City), Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Ngan shared that her current income has improved a lot. In addition to increasing the basic salary, recently, thanks to the attention paid to investing in facilities and implementing new models of medical examination and treatment, the quality of medical care in the district has been increasingly improved, creating trust and attracting patients to the center. Thanks to that, the center's revenue and the income of doctors and medical staff here have increased.

According to the female doctor, no matter where or when she works, she always wants to devote herself to the patients. With a large workload, increasing salary will create more motivation for doctors and medical staff to have more working spirit, improve the quality of patient care and stick with public health facilities.

“As a doctor, I always want to serve patients in the best way. In the coming time, I hope that all levels and sectors will continue to pay attention to investing in equipment and machinery for medical services at the district and county levels as well as preferential treatment for doctors and medical staff. This will contribute to improving the quality of treatment, helping doctors and medical staff to feel secure in their profession,” said Dr. Ngan.

With over 15 years of working in the education sector, for Ms. My Tien (preschool teacher, Thoi Lai district, Can Tho city), no matter how big or small, every salary increase is a great joy. Besides her love for the teaching profession, salary increases and allowances are what give the female teacher more motivation to stick with the job for so many years.

With income levels greatly improved after the recent basic salary increase, the female teacher hopes that not only herself but also many other colleagues will have more spirit to continue contributing to the education sector, not choosing to change jobs or quit because of the burden of food, clothing, rice, and money.

“The work is hard and stressful, I hope that in addition to salary increases, the State will continue to pay attention to health care policies for preschool teachers. Because if we have good health, we can ensure the care of children and continue our career,” the female teacher shared.
