In the 2023-2025 period, trade unions at all levels in Department H08 have focused on doing a good job of practically caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers; proactively grasping the thoughts and circumstances of workers to share, encourage, and support in a timely manner...
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year, the Department's Trade Union organizes the Programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia", "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", "With the family of union members celebrating Tet" to organize meetings, give support and gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. From 2023 to present, the Department's Trade Union has met and presented Tet gifts to 523 union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 285 million VND; Organized 450 union members in difficult circumstances to participate in the "Tet Sum Vay" Fair, and were given shopping vouchers at discount booths organized by the higher-level trade union.
To encourage workers during Tet and the days before the Lunar New Year 2024, the Department's Trade Union coordinated with grassroots trade unions to directly visit the factory and present 270 gift bags to workers directly involved in production at workshops of enterprises under the Department, with a total gift value of 62 million VND. Coordinated with the People's Public Security Trade Union to directly visit a number of factories and present nearly 190 gift bags to workers directly involved in production at workshops of enterprises under the Department, with a total gift value of 61.5 million VND.
In addition, from 2023 - 2025, trade unions at all levels in the Department will always maintain good organization of activities to care for and regularly visit union members and workers who are sick, pregnant, have family charity, organize collective birthdays, organize gift giving to female union members on March 8, October 20, and take care of union members' children on the occasion of Children's Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. Accordingly, visited 1,349 employees in illness, pain, maternity, and union membership with an amount of 481 million VND; organized a collective birthday party, gave gifts to 2,234 union members and employees with an amount of 554 million VND; organized a Children's and Mid-Autumn Festival gift giving, and awarded prizes to 4,573 students who are children of union members and employees with high academic achievements with a total amount of 644 million VND.
