Increase care and support for workers
Currently, Tay Ninh has over 500,000 workers, civil servants, and laborers, most of whom work in industrial parks, manufacturing enterprises and border economic zones. Along with the process of industrialization and production expansion, the labor force in the locality is increasing, leading to many issues related to employment, income, housing and living conditions of workers.
In the first quarter of 2026, some businesses faced difficulties with orders, had to reduce working hours or cut labor; while prices of many essential goods increased sharply, directly affecting the income and lives of workers.
Faced with that reality, Trade Union levels in Tay Ninh focused on implementing many activities to care for and support workers in a more practical direction, closely following the actual needs at enterprises and industrial parks.
During the 2026 Lunar New Year, the programs "Tet Sum vay", "Trade Union Tet Market", "Tat nien khu nha tro", "Trade Union Bus - Spring 2026" were organized in many localities and businesses, supporting more than 179,000 turns of union members and workers with a total budget of over 109 billion VND.
In addition to social security support activities, the Provincial Labor Federation also maintains the "Thank you workers" program to care for workers in difficult circumstances, workers who have had labor accidents or are affected by job losses.
According to Mr. Tran Le Duy - Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, trade union activities are currently being implemented in the direction of putting workers at the center, focusing more on the essential needs of union members and workers.
With the spirit of responsibility, flexibility, and creativity of Trade Union levels through specific, focused, and key actions towards grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the operating goals of the Trade Union," Mr. Tran Le Duy emphasized.
Going deeper into the essential issues of workers
Not only focusing on supporting social security, trade union levels in Tay Ninh are gradually shifting their activities to issues directly related to the working environment and quality of life of workers.

One of the notable activities is the workshop "Improving the quality of workers' meals" organized by the Provincial Labor Federation on May 15 with the participation of representatives of businesses, grassroots trade unions, cooperatives and food suppliers.
This activity aims to connect clean and stable food sources for business kitchens, contributing to improving the quality of lunch meals while still ensuring compliance with production costs.
According to the assessment of the Trade Union organization, lunch meals are one of the issues of concern to a large number of workers because they directly affect health, labor regeneration capacity and work productivity, especially for overtime workers or in heavy environments.
In parallel, many labor law counseling activities, reproductive health care for female workers, and labor safety and hygiene propaganda are also organized directly at businesses and areas with a large concentration of workers.
The activities are implemented in the direction of increasing interaction, creating conditions for workers to directly exchange, reflect difficulties and access information related to labor rights, social insurance and working conditions.
According to Mr. Tran Le Duy, taking care of workers is not only about supporting life but also towards building a stable and harmonious working environment in enterprises.
Trade union levels have promoted the implementation of many activities to represent, care for, and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; improve working conditions for workers, build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises," Mr. Tran Le Duy said.
In addition, dialogue between employees and businesses, supervision of the implementation of labor policies, social insurance and occupational safety and health continue to be focused on by trade union levels to limit labor disputes and protect the rights of employees at enterprises.
Accompanying workers in the face of new requirements of the labor market
In the context of digital transformation, automation and artificial intelligence increasingly clearly impacting production activities, the labor market also sets higher requirements for vocational skills and adaptability of workers.
Many businesses are changing production models, applying new technologies, causing a part of workers to face the risk of job losses or having to change jobs. Faced with this reality, Trade Union levels in Tay Ninh have included many activities to support skills training, job counseling and labor connection in the 2026 work program.
In which, the "Labor Skills - Sustainable Employment Day" is organized to support workers to access recruitment information, vocational skills counseling and orientation to adapt to changes in the labor market.
In parallel, emulation movements "Good Labor - Creative Labor", promoting technical innovation initiatives and ensuring labor safety and hygiene continue to be implemented at many businesses in the province.
Mr. Tran Le Duy said that in the context of the labor market still facing many fluctuations, the Trade Union organization needs to continue to innovate its operating methods, proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers to promptly support them in difficult times.
Trade union levels need to continue to promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; proactively grasp the situation of labor relations, and promptly support workers," Mr. Tran Le Duy emphasized.
From activities to care for social security, improve the quality of shift meals to supporting employment and improving working conditions, trade union levels in Tay Ninh are gradually affirming their role as a support for workers in the context of the labor market continuing to fluctuate.
