On the morning of June 3, the delegation of Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union and nearly 800 outstanding delegates, representing the will and aspirations of nearly 10 million union members and workers (TUs, LDs) nationwide, attended the first working session of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031 in Hanoi.
The delegation of Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union consists of 12 members, led by Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation - as Head of the delegation.
Attending the Congress, the delegation of Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union brought the thoughts and aspirations of more than 80,000 union members and workers in the province, with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".
According to Mr. Ha Duy Trung, from the practical activities of Trade Unions in the locality, the Gia Lai delegation will focus on contributing opinions on many important contents such as solutions to promote digital transformation in Trade Union activities; improving the efficiency of union management; receiving and resolving recommendations of employees in the digital environment.
The delegation also proposed solutions to improve the lives, jobs, housing and welfare for workers, especially workers in remote and isolated areas, ethnic minority areas and border areas.
Regarding the patriotic emulation movement, the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union proposed to continue to effectively implement the movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income", in accordance with the specific characteristics of agricultural and forestry economic development of the locality.
The Gia Lai delegation will convey the voices of union members and workers in the province to discussion forums; and contribute opinions to important policies of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new term.
