On June 4, the Standing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference on training collective bargaining skills in 2025.
At the conference, delegates were disseminated general knowledge about collective bargaining, forms and processes of negotiation as well as necessary skills in the negotiation process. At the same time, the conference also spent time discussing and collecting opinions on the role of the Trade Union in participating in drafting and giving comments on the collective labor agreement.

The leader of the provincial Labor Confederation said that the goal of the conference was to improve the efficiency of representative activities of the Trade Union organization in protecting the legitimate and legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Thereby, contributing to building a harmonious, stable and progressive labor relationship in the new context.
The training content also focuses on raising awareness of the role of Trade Unions in collective bargaining; updating new legal regulations according to the 2019 Labor Code and current guiding documents; clarifying the negotiation process, subjects, content and legal responsibility when signing collective labor agreements.
The conference also focused on developing practical skills for trade union officials, thereby promoting the collective bargaining process to take place effectively, substantially and in depth. This will contribute to improving the quality of collective labor agreements, towards agreements that are beneficial to both employees and businesses, while contributing to the sustainable development of businesses in the coming time.
