Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan emphasized that in recent years, the application of information technology in the direction and operation of trade union organizations has received special attention and investment in resources. In particular, the implementation of unified Voffice software from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to all levels of trade unions has contributed to improving work performance, improving information work efficiency, direction and operation, saving costs, and reducing work processing time.
However, during the implementation process, there are still some shortcomings and problems, including the situation where many units, especially at the provincial level, have to run many operating information system software in parallel.
According to Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan, with the implementation of the arrangement of the organizational apparatus of trade union agencies at all levels to ensure the goal of streamlining, compactness, and strength, effective, efficient operation, and core core solutions, it is necessary to promote digital transformation, apply information technology more in leadership, direction and management. That is also a practical solution to concretize the action program No. 02 dated January 20, 2025 of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the implementation of Resolution No. 57 dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo.
Closely follow the Party's direction on applying digital technology to innovate processes and professions, in order to enhance connectivity, integration, data sharing, actively and effectively support the work of advising and serving leadership, direction and management, creating conditions for connecting and sharing data between trade union organizations and State agencies, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan said that through approach, research, and testing, the Party's operational management system software is basic software that meets needs well, in line with the trade union organization model. Therefore, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor decided to deploy the Party's unified work management system software in all levels of trade unions, replacing Voffice software from August 1, 2025.
