On the afternoon of July 23, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc and the working delegation visited policy families and people with outstanding revolutionary contributions, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947- July 27, 2025); surveyed the implementation of local government at both levels in An Minh and Dong Hoa communes.
The delegation visited the families of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Danh; war invalid Nguyen Van Muon (An Minh commune); Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Chinh; war invalid Nguyen Van Xuyen (Dong Hoa commune).
At the places visited, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc kindly visited the health and family life, and encouraged the spirit of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and war invalids.
Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of policy families to the cause of national liberation struggle and noble international obligations. The Party, State and People always remember and are grateful for the contributions of previous generations. Requesting local Party committees and authorities to continue to pay attention to and better care for the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries in the area.

Coming to survey the actual operations of the Public Administration Service Center and working with the People's Committees of An Minh and Dong Hoa communes, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc grasped the situation of activities in implementing the arrangement of administrative units, operating the 2-level local government model; the situation of facilities, handling administrative procedures, handling work for people and businesses; listening to and resolving difficulties and recommendations of localities...
Through on-site inspection and listening to reports from localities, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of local Party committees and authorities as well as the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees of An Minh and Dong Hoa communes. In a short time, the apparatus has been gradually organized, units have been arranged, tasks have been assigned clearly, ensuring that public administrative services for people are not interrupted.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Party Committees of communes continue to mobilize their role as comprehensive and profound leaders and government organizations, grasp the thoughts of cadres, stabilize the ideology to create high consensus internally.
The People's Committee of the commune proactively reviews and completes working regulations and work handling procedures, effectively coordinates with provincial agencies and departments to ensure smooth direction and management. Strengthen training and service training for commune-level civil servants, especially skills in using digital technology in document management, electronics, and handling administrative records in the digital environment. Each cadre and civil servant must constantly learn and apply artificial intelligence (AI) to fulfill the duties of a civil servant in the era of national growth.
