According to the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2024, trade unions at all levels organized 354 programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia" and "Tet Union Market", through which 279,576 union members and employees were visited and given gifts with a total cost of more than 94.4 billion VND, at the same time, supporting 913 union members and employees whose working hours were reduced or their labor contracts were terminated with a total amount of more than 907 million VND; building 35 Union Shelters, with a total cost of more than 1.7 billion VND.
The Provincial Federation of Labor and the direct superior trade unions at the grassroots level promptly supported 1,264 union members and workers affected by storm No. 3 with a total budget of 812.5 million VND. Trade unions at all levels in Thai Binh province have newly established 56 grassroots trade unions, admitted more than 21,000 new union members, reaching 121% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The work of developing party members continues to receive attention from grassroots trade unions, 1,715 outstanding union members have been introduced by grassroots trade unions to the Party committee for consideration of training and admission, and 862 outstanding union members have been admitted to the Party.
As of November 30, 2024, the total number of cadres, employees and workers in agencies, units and enterprises with trade unions in Thai Binh province is 190,421 people. The total number of union members is 176,657 people and grassroots trade unions are 1,647 units (491 grassroots trade unions in the production and business sector).

Continue to seek partners to sign welfare programs for union members and employees; launch and effectively organize emulation movements to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country, the province and the Trade Union organization. Promote activities to promote gender equality, consultation, health care, and reproductive health for employees, especially female employees in enterprises.
At the conference, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Emulation Flag for the excellent unit, leading the emulation movement of workers and trade union activities in 2024 to the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor. Many outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in 2024 received the emulation flag and certificates of merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor.
