Visiting and encouraging families of workers injured in an accident in Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union visited and encouraged the family of the female worker who died in a traffic accident.

On May 5, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation organized a working delegation to visit and encourage the family of union member Ta Thi My, a worker of Thai Nguyen Environment and Urban Works Joint Stock Company.

At 10:57 am on April 26, 2026, while on duty collecting garbage on Phan Dinh Phung street, Ms. Ta Thi My was suddenly hit by a car coming from behind.

Although she was taken to Thai Nguyen Central Hospital for emergency treatment, due to her severe injuries, Ms. My died later.

Immediately after the incident, the Company coordinated with the family to organize a thoughtful funeral, and is also carrying out procedures related to the occupational accident regime according to regulations.

At the family, the working delegation cordially inquired and deeply shared the great loss of the family; and at the same time provided support and encouraged relatives to overcome the pain and stabilize their lives soon.

The activity demonstrates the timely concern and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the rights of union members, workers and their families. Thereby continuing to affirm its role as a reliable support for workers in all circumstances.
