On March 11, representatives of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in February 2026, Hanoi had 2,630 female workers registered to find jobs.

In February 2026, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 17 job transaction sessions with 472 participating businesses, 4,436 participating workers. 2,816 people were interviewed; 969 people were recruited by businesses after the interview.

In February, there were 1,912 male workers registered to find jobs and 2,630 female workers registered to find jobs. Among them, workers with general education level were 1,957 people; workers with education level from elementary to college level were 1,562 people; workers with university degrees or higher were 1,023 people.

The number of people introduced to jobs is 3,472 turns; the number of people who found jobs after the interview is 1,160 turns.

By the end of February 2026, the total number of businesses in Hanoi is 154,725; the number of employees working at the business is 2,338,216 people. The number of businesses in need of recruitment is 5,415; the number of employees in need of recruitment: 42,000.

By type, state-owned enterprises are 2,100; non-state-owned enterprises are 33,600; foreign-invested enterprises are 6,300.

Regarding recruitment needs based on qualifications: General labor: 8,400 people; labor with vocational certificates: 6,300 people; labor with elementary level is 2,100 people; labor with intermediate level is 4,200 people; labor with college level is 6,300 people; labor with university and postgraduate level is 14,700.

Considering some economic sectors, the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors recruited 2,100 people; the processing and manufacturing industry recruited 10,500 people.
