According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, in July 2025, the whole city will recruit more than 50,000 jobs.

On August 25, a representative of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in July 2025, based on positive recovery signals from many fields, the recruitment demand across the city is estimated to reach over 50,000 positions.

This figure shows that businesses are planning to expand production and business for the second half of the year, reflecting optimism about the growth momentum of key sectors such as trade - services, tourism and investment capital, said Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center.

Based on a survey and information collection of 1,261 vacant jobs of 458 enterprises at the Center, the recruitment demand in July 2025 focused heavily on the trade - service sector. Of which, the group of other service activities continues to account for the highest proportion with 60.21%.

The processing and manufacturing industry had a slight decrease, accounting for 13.56% of the proportion, down 3.5 percentage points compared to June. However, this is still one of the sectors with high recruitment demand, reflecting the important role of the manufacturing sector in the economy. Other industries such as transportation, warehouses, accommodation and catering services also show stable recruitment demand, reflecting the recovery of commercial and tourism activities.

The recruitment structure by occupation group in July 2025 shows that businesses have had a significant adjustment in recruitment demand compared to the previous month. The leadership and management position decreased from 16.59% to 14.51%, showing that businesses are focusing on stabilizing the existing management team. The position of office assistant staff also decreased slightly, from 16.48% to 15.31%. Notably, the demand for mid-level specialists increased slightly, accounting for 16.02% (compared to 15.47% in June).
