Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in August 2026, the city created jobs for 19,900 workers. In which, jobs were created for 1,500 workers from the city's entrusted budget capital through the Social Policy Bank with an amount of 184 billion VND; 277 workers were created jobs through labor export; more than 1,300 people found jobs through job transaction sessions and job introduction counseling activities at Hanoi Employment Service Center; 16,900 workers were created jobs through other forms.
In August, the Hanoi Employment Service Center organized 24 job transaction sessions. There were 533 units participating in recruitment with a total of 13,198 recruitment and enrollment targets. The number of workers consulted and provided with labor market information was 5,700 workers. There were 2,139 workers connected and interviewed at job transaction sessions. As a result, 876 workers were received recruitment applications by businesses.
Regarding support and settlement of unemployment insurance (UI) policies in August, the Hanoi Employment Service Center received 6,474 applications for UI benefits (a decrease of 2,251 applications compared to July and a decrease of 337 applications compared to the same period in 2025).
Hanoi Employment Service Center appraised and issued decisions to receive unemployment benefits for 8,496 applications (an increase of 988 applications compared to July and an increase of 3,256 applications compared to the same period in 2025) with a support amount of 324.9 billion VND.
In addition, the Hanoi Employment Service Center has advised and supported job search for over 1,600 workers, including vocational training support for 108 people with an amount of 418.5 million VND.
