Diverse welfare activities
According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, Workers' Month 2026 will be implemented from mid-April, peaking in May with many activities towards grassroots levels, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.
Programs such as "Trade Union Meals", "Thank you workers", "Coming to workers' boarding houses" are widely organized, contributing to practical support for life and improving living conditions for workers.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation said that this year's activities focus on comprehensive care for workers.
Supporting workers in difficult circumstances, visiting sick workers, people in special circumstances, or organizing welfare programs are synchronously implemented contents.

Promoting policy dialogue
In parallel with care work, trade union levels organize the "May Dialogue" program and meetings between provincial leaders and union members and workers to listen to thoughts and aspirations from the grassroots level.
Through activities, many issues related to salaries, regimes, policies, and working conditions are directly reflected, contributing to helping functional agencies and businesses promptly remove difficulties.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Linh said that trade union levels will advise, propose, and coordinate so that heads of Party committees, authorities, and employers can directly meet and dialogue with union members and workers in accordance with the actual situation.
According to Mr. Linh, the organization of the Forum "Union members contribute ideas to build Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era" will create a widespread political activity, promote democracy, gather opinions and recommendations from workers, and contribute to completing the trade union organization.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Linh said that the Provincial Labor Federation advises the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to organize meetings, contacts, and dialogues for union members and workers to express their thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations related to policies.
Through this, provincial leaders have more basis to absorb, research, and adjust socio-economic development policies, promptly ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Worker Thach Gia Khoi working at Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Investment and Production Joint Stock Company (Tra Cu commune, Vinh Long province) expressed his desire for regimes and policies for workers to continue to be improved, especially salaries, allowances and related benefits.
Ensuring stable income and the concern of the trade union will help workers feel secure and attached, while improving the quality of life," Mr. Gia Khoi added.
