On March 30, at the headquarters of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to review grassroots trade unions in the first quarter; deploy key tasks for the second quarter of 2026.
The conference was organized directly combined with online sessions to 10 grassroots Trade Union bridge points.
Attending at the main bridge point were Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, and representatives of grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) directly under it.

In the first quarter of 2026, Trade Union levels have proactively and actively effectively implemented the work of caring for the lives of union members and workers, especially during the Lunar New Year.
Grassroots trade unions have actively implemented plans to mobilize union members and workers to respond to "Tet tree planting, forever remembering Uncle Ho" and strengthen forest management, protection, and development in 2026.
Specifically, 44 grassroots trade unions participated in contributing and supporting the fund to buy crops with a total amount of over 30 million VND, contributing to greening vacant land.
In the first quarter, the province established 1 new grassroots trade union, admitting 291 new union members. At the same time, introduced 22 outstanding union members for the Party to consider and foster for admission.

Deploying key tasks for the second quarter of 2026, Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation determined to organize propaganda activities for Workers' Month 2026 associated with the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Organize a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and union members and workers organized by the Provincial Labor Federation in the near future.
Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation requested trade union levels to strengthen the organization of activities to care for the material and spiritual life; protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Promptly visit, encourage, and support cases of difficult circumstances, work accidents, or occupational diseases.
Supporting the construction and repair of "Trade Union Shelter" houses for eligible union members, especially prioritizing workers directly working at enterprises.
