The Trade Union of Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Phong City, has just organized a Conference to announce the Decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Saigon - Hai Duong Eye Hospital Joint Stock Company, and at the same time launched the Executive Committee of the first grassroots Trade Union, term 2025-2030.
At the conference, the Ward Trade Union announced the Decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Saigon - Hai Duong Eye Hospital Joint Stock Company with 3 comrades in the Executive Committee. Along with that, 40 employees of the company were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union organization. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the first grassroots Trade Union, term 2025-2030.
Representatives of the company's Trade Union members expressed their trust and expectations for the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union; wishing the Trade Union organization to promote its role as a reliable support, a bridge connecting workers and businesses.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan - Chairwoman of Le Thanh Nghi Ward Trade Union - acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive spirit of enterprises in coordinating the establishment of Trade Union organizations. The establishment of grassroots Trade Unions not only contributes to protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers but also creates a foundation for building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
The Chairman of the Ward Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union soon develop operating regulations, assign specific tasks; proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; effectively organize emulation movements; take care of the material and spiritual life of union members; and at the same time strengthen coordination with the Company's Board of Directors in performing production and business tasks.
