The traffic accident occurred on the morning of March 20 at the intersection on National Highway 10 (Thien Truong ward, Ninh Binh province), killing 2 people on the spot and injuring another.
According to information from the leaders of Thien Truong Ward People's Committee, the incident occurred at about 7:25 am on the same day, at Km102+200 - the intersection between National Highway 10 and the road leading to My Trung industrial park and Paster road (entrance to Nam Dinh General Hospital).
At this time, a truck traveling in the direction from Hung Yen to Ninh Binh collided with two motorbikes and one electric motorbike traveling in the same direction. The chain collision caused many vehicles to be heavily damaged, and the victims were thrown out of the vehicles.
As a result, two women died on the spot, and another person was injured and taken to the emergency room. Immediately after the accident occurred, functional forces quickly arrived at the scene, organized traffic diversion, and at the same time conducted an examination to clarify the cause of the incident.
