On the morning of May 16, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that it had organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Trilink Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd. in Du Long Industrial Park, Thuan Bac commune.
This is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise operating in the garment sector.
At the conference, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 112 workers to the trade union organization; and at the same time recognized the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and titles of the grassroots Trade Union of Trilink Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Zhao Guo Dong - Director of Trilink Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd., expressed his agreement and highly appreciated the policy of establishing trade union organizations at enterprises.
Mr. Zhao Guo Dong said that the trade union organization will contribute to strengthening the connection between employees and the company's leadership; and at the same time support businesses to effectively implement policies related to labor management and use.
The company's Board of Directors will create favorable conditions for grassroots trade unions to operate in accordance with regulations; coordinate to promptly resolve issues related to employment, life and the rights of workers," Mr. Zhao Guo Dong emphasized.
Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee said that the establishment of grassroots trade unions not only reflects the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of workers but also contributes to building harmonious, stable and sustainable labor relations at enterprises.
In the coming time, the grassroots Trade Union of Trilink Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd. will focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; promote labor and production emulation movements; build a stable and harmonious working environment.
On this occasion, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation awarded 4 support packages to union members and workers in difficult circumstances belonging to the company's grassroots trade union, each package worth 1 million VND.
