On March 24, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the Tra Vinh Ward Trade Union, marking a step in consolidating the Trade Union organization towards streamlining, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Tra Vinh Ward Trade Union was established on the basis of managing 28 grassroots trade unions with more than 2,000 union members. The Executive Committee consists of 9 people, Ms. Le Thuy Kieu was appointed as Chairwoman.

Speaking to receive the assignment, Ms. Le Thuy Kieu expressed her appreciation for the concern and trust of leaders at all levels; and at the same time determined that this is an honor but also a great responsibility.
Ms. Kieu said that the Executive Committee will build a united collective, effectively implement tasks, stick to the grassroots level, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members.
The Ward Trade Union will promote propaganda of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; mobilize workers to improve their qualifications and actively participate in the patriotic emulation movement in the locality.

Speaking to direct, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the establishment of Ward Trade Unions is a specific step to concretize the policy of arranging organization, bringing Trade Union activities closer to union members.
Mr. Linh requested the Executive Committee of Tra Vinh Ward Trade Union to quickly complete the operating regulations, clearly assign tasks; coordinate in receiving and managing union members, ensuring uninterrupted operations after transfer. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on dialogue, collective bargaining, building harmonious labor relations; pay attention to developing union members, introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and admission.
On the same day, the Nguyet Hoa Ward Trade Union was also announced to be established, managing 13 grassroots trade unions with more than 2,050 union members; The Executive Committee includes 9 people, Ms. Kim Thi Thanh Xuan as Chairwoman.
