On July 23, the Trade Union Working Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province coordinated with the Party Committee of Binh Duc ward and Binh Hoa commune to organize a Conference to announce the decision to establish and appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman; Inspection Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of ward and commune trade unions.
Accordingly, the Binh Duc Ward Trade Union will be established, directly under the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation from July 1, 2026. Ms. Nguyen Truong Diem Chi - Vice Chairwoman of the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee holds the position of Chairwoman of the Ward Trade Union. Transferring 25 grassroots trade unions with 1,827 union members directly under the Provincial Labor Federation to the Binh Duc Ward Trade Union for management from July 1, 2026.

Establishment of Binh Hoa Commune Trade Union, directly under the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation from July 1, 2026. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Deputy Chief of Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of the commune holds the position of Chairman of the Commune Trade Union. Transfer of 14 grassroots trade unions with 1,520 union members directly under the Provincial Labor Federation to Binh Duc Ward Trade Union for management from July 1, 2026.
According to the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, the current context poses very high requirements for the Trade Union organization, not only rearranging the organizational model but also strongly innovating the content and methods of operation to be closer to union members, closer to grassroots levels and better serve union members.


Commune and ward trade unions focus on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in the non-state sector. Innovate operating methods towards applying digital technology and improving the quality of service for union members.
On this occasion, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation also signed a Coordination Regulation with local Party committees to strengthen leadership and coordination in building a strong Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
