Today (July 23), stage 2 of the SEA V.Cup 2026 men's volleyball tournament continues in Jakarta (Indonesia) with two notable matches.

At 3:30 PM, the Vietnamese team will face Thailand. Coach Federico Rampazzo's team entered the second leg with the determination to improve their performance after only finishing 4th in leg 1. Although they won against Myanmar 3-0, the Vietnamese team could not overcome Thailand and Indonesia, before continuing to suffer defeats against Thailand in the third-place match.

In this rematch, the Vietnamese team is expected to have a more positive performance after adding setters Tran Hoai Phuong and Bui Xuan Tien to increase the squad depth. The match against Thailand is also an opportunity for the Vietnamese team to verify tactical adjustments against strong opponents in the region.

Meanwhile, the remaining match of the day is the match between Cambodia and the Philippines at 7:00 PM. Cambodia is in a very high spirit after causing a big surprise with the championship of stage 1, while the Philippines will aim for a favorable result in the opening match.
