Article 51 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024 (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the time off work to enjoy maternity benefits during pregnancy check-ups as follows:

1. Pregnant female workers are entitled to take maternity leave to go for a pregnancy check-up up to 5 times, each time not exceeding 2 days.
2. The time off work to enjoy maternity benefits when receiving a pregnancy check-up is calculated according to working days, excluding holidays, Tet, and weekly days off.
Accordingly, pregnant female workers are entitled to take maternity leave to go for a pregnancy check-up up to 5 times, each time not exceeding 2 days. The time off work to enjoy maternity benefits when receiving a pregnancy check-up is calculated according to working days, excluding holidays, Tet, and weekly days off.
Currently, Article 32 of the Law on Social Insurance 2014 stipulates that during pregnancy, female employees are allowed to take a leave of absence to go for a pregnancy check-up 5 times, each time 1 day.
