The Ministry of Home Affairs issued an official dispatch to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities on the pilot implementation of public services for unemployment insurance procedures.
This is to implement Resolution No. 175/NQ-CP dated October 30, 2023 of the Government on approving the National Data Center Project; Conclusion of the First Meeting of the Government Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation, digital transformation.
At the same time, implement Project 06 in Notice No. 171 dated April 11, 2025 of the Government Office, in which, the Ministry of Public Security is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government Office, the Ministry of Finance and relevant agencies and units to develop a process and provide public services on the National Public Service Portal, at https://dichvucong.gov.vn for 6 unemployment insurance procedures from July 21, 2025.
These 6 unemployment insurance procedures include: Monthly job search notification for force majeure cases, settlement of unemployment benefits, suspension, continuation, termination, and relocation of unemployment benefits.
To provide online public services and support workers in completing procedures quickly and conveniently, the Ministry of Home Affairs requests that local People's Committees direct the Department of Home Affairs and Employment Service Centers to immediately deploy and implement according to the procedures and forms of the Ministry of Home Affairs on receiving and handling 6 unemployment insurance procedures on the National Public Service Portal from July 21.
At the same time, use the senior management account of the People's Committee of the province or centrally run city (registered with digital certificate equipment granted to the Provincial People's Committee, or an agency authorized by the Provincial People's Committee to manage) to delegate authority to the management account of the Department of Home Affairs and the Employment Service Center, in order to resolve the above administrative procedures.
The Department of Home Affairs reviews and has solutions to upgrade the Department's document management and operation system ( Office system) to ensure the ability to integrate with the National Public Service Portal in accordance with technical standards issued by the National Public Service Portal.
The Ministry of Home Affairs also requested localities to review the assignment of targets related to the "Index of service to people and businesses in implementing administrative procedures and online public services" of provinces and cities.
