The Vietnam Banking Trade Union said that the emulation theme for 2026 was launched as "Trade Union members and employees of the banking industry emulation in innovation, creativity - promoting digital transformation - improving productivity, quality, efficiency, bringing resolutions of the Party, Fatherland Front, Vietnam Trade Union, and Banking Trade Union into life".
The emulation movement was launched and implemented by the Vietnam Banking Union in 2026, divided into 2 phases, associated with major holidays, important political events of the Party, State, the Banking sector and the Trade Union organization.
Phase 1, from January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026: Organizing focused emulation movements to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party; celebrating the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam; organizing elections for National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term; celebrating the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Trade Union Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031; celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Bank of Vietnam (May 6, 1951 - May 6, 2026).
Phase 2, from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026: Continue to promote the emulation movement to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026); and at the same time focus on propaganda, thoroughly grasping and effectively organizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Resolution of the 14th Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Congress.
