Optimizing and saving materials and raw materials
In the near future, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) will organize the installation of signs for two emulation projects at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation level to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Mr. Le Van Minh - Chairman of EVNHCMC Trade Union - said that during the implementation of the Cat Lai - Tan Cang 220kV Line project (total investment capital of more than 805 billion VND) and the Hoa Xa 110kV Transformer Station Renovation project (total investment capital of nearly 250 billion VND) invested by EVNHCMC, employees in the Ho Chi Minh City electricity industry have had many initiatives and improvements to bring practical results.
At the Cat Lai - Tan Cang 220kV Line project, the team of employees in the Ho Chi Minh City electricity industry has proactively adjusted the location and design of the T08 pole foundation, while removing the T07 pole foundation to comply with the land use planning, minimizing the impact on households. The T19 pillar is also moved along the median strip to avoid encroaching on the road. In addition, the route and design of the underground cable section are adjusted to avoid overlapping the infrastructure planning of the 220kV Cat Lai transformer station, ensuring safety when maintaining and repairing under the conditions of the station still in operation. The engineers also flexibly adjusted the design to install 220kV underground cables across Saigon 2 Bridge, helping the construction, operation and maintenance of the cable line to take place safely and conveniently.
"From emulation movements, the team of employees participating in the two projects has promoted initiatives, improved techniques, rationalized production, optimized costs of materials and raw materials, and ensured construction progress," said Mr. Minh.
