Hanoi Social Insurance informs:
On September 4, 2025, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued Decision 990/QD-BNV in 2025 on announcing 6 administrative procedures on unemployment insurance to be piloted on the National Public Service Portal under the state management of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Accordingly, based on Point e, Section 1, Part II of the Appendix issued with Decision 990/QD-BNV in 2025, the deadline for settling unemployment benefits at the provincial level from September 4, 2025 is as follows:
- In case the application is eligible: within 20 working days from the date the employee submits the application as prescribed;
- In case the employee does not come to receive unemployment benefits and does not notify the social insurance agency in writing after 3 months from the date the employee expires according to the unemployment benefit decision: Within 7 working days after the above deadline, the social insurance agency shall notify the Employment Service Center about the employee not coming to receive unemployment benefits;
Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the notification, the Employment Service Center shall submit a decision to sign a decision on reserving unemployment insurance payment time for employees.
