Also attending the working session and presenting Tet gifts were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF).
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the working delegation of Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet presented 200 gifts to policy families, 200 gifts to poor families, and 200 gifts to workers' families facing difficult circumstances in Ha Tinh.
At the headquarters of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, the delegation directly presented 30 gifts to policy families, poor families and families of workers in difficult circumstances.
The remaining gifts were sent by the delegation to the Military Command of Ha Tinh province, the Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province and the Labor Federation of Ha Tinh province to deliver to the families as soon as possible.
At the working session with Ha Tinh province, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and the working delegation listened to the leaders of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee report on the socio-economic situation of Ha Tinh province in 2024 and tasks and solutions in 2025.
After listening to the report, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet highly appreciated the results that Ha Tinh province achieved in 2024, including ensuring the maintenance of political security, social order and safety, and effectively attracting investment.
The Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army hopes that based on the results achieved in 2024, the Party Committee, Government and people of Ha Tinh province will continue to strive to successfully carry out socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in the area in 2025.
On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet sent New Year greetings and wishes for a happy New Year 2025 to all cadres, party members, armed forces and people of Ha Tinh province to welcome a healthy, peaceful, joyful and happy new year.
Mr. Hoang Trung Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee thanked Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet for his attention, encouragement and heartfelt speeches with the hope that Ha Tinh province will develop more and more to join the country in entering the era of growth.
The Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee also thanked the Ministry of National Defense for its attention and financial support to Ha Tinh province to implement the policy of eliminating 500 temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025. With such valuable support, Ha Tinh province strives to mobilize resources to complete the elimination of more than 2,000 temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.
The Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee also reported on social security activities and Tet care for policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in the area during this Lunar New Year.
