According to the Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC), in the past 5 years (2020-2025), the rate of female cadres achieving "Good at public work, good at housework" of units in the whole industry has always reached over 95%.
To achieve this result, the Trade Union has thoroughly grasped the Party's guidelines and the state's laws and policies on women's work, family building in the new situation, closely implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to widely deploy the emulation movement "Good at school work - good at home work" associated with the movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families"; coordinate with the Committee for the advancement of Women in the industry to implement the Action Plan on Gender Equality for the period 2020 - 2025, annually, issue documents to orient women's work so that units can develop specific plans, in line with the reality of each unit.
Emulation movements and women's activities are organized to be increasingly innovative and creative, focusing on the following topics: Improving professional qualifications and skills; promoting the role of female cadres, teachers, and workers in the education and building of agencies and units; building a prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy family; linking women with love, career, and family responsibility; paying attention to population work - family planning, health care, raising healthy children, teaching good children... Thanks to that, women's work in particular and trade union activities in general are increasingly in-depth, creating a widespread, attractive, and gathering a large number of female workers.
The emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" among female employees associated with the movement "Women who actively study, work creatively, and build happy families" has become a movement that is carried out regularly and self-consciously, creating motivation for female employees to strive to rise up. Many female collectives and individuals have excellently completed their tasks, becoming exemplary in emulation movements and major campaigns in the industry; actively participating in scientific research, creativity, innovation in teaching and work, participating in social activities. The female employees are increasingly improving their role and position in the family and society; their qualifications and abilities are improved to meet the requirements of educational and training innovation.
According to the Trade Union, female employees in the education sector not only completed their professional tasks excellently, actively participated in humanitarian and charitable activities but also felt secure in building a family. Many female employees, despite difficult circumstances and limited income, still take advantage of their time to compile documents, conduct scientific research or increase production, and do extra jobs, such as: online business, farming, garment, services, etc., contributing to increasing income and stabilizing the family economy. Most of the children of female employees are well-educated and have achieved high academic results, many of whom are honored as excellent students at the national and international levels.
