According to the Vietnam Education Trade Union, in the past 5 years (2020-2025), the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers", "Scientific research and technology transfer" continued to arouse the potential and intelligence of cadres, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLD). Thereby, actively contributing to the management, teaching, scientific research, technology transfer, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks and building the brands of units and schools in the roadmap for university autonomy and digital transformation.
The direction and implementation of emulation movements by trade unions at all levels in the Vietnam Education Trade Union has received the attention and active coordination of experts. The trade unions of the units proactively select content, integrate, implement with appropriate forms, overcome difficulties, and take advantage of all favorable conditions to organize effectively.
Thanks to that, in the period of 2020 - 2025, hundreds of thousands of technical innovation initiatives have been applied in practice, benefiting society by over 200 million VND; 29 teachers and scientists have been awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 64 teachers and scientists have been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam Education Trade Union for their outstanding achievements in the "Scientific Research and Technology Transfer" movement.
From topics and scientific research works with high value, in recent years, the education sector has had teachers and scientists honored in the Vietnam Glory Program. The honored individuals not only accompany the industry in contributing to the cause of education but also inspire and motivate the patriotic emulation movement to have a strong coverage, depth and vitality.
Responding to Workers' Month 2025, the Vietnam Education Trade Union organized an exhibition and seminar in response to "Creative Labor Festival" - organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2025, with the participation of outstanding young lecturers, scientists, and students from higher education institutions across the country. The highlight of the "Creative Labor Festival" in 2025 is the Exhibition "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise Up", the Vietnam Education Trade Union is one of the few industry unions with products participating in the exhibition.
At the exhibition, 3 typical scientific research products of lecturers from universities and colleges are displayed.
The University of Transport with the initiative "Concrete components for construction of level crossings on railways at road and railway intersections" has been registered for patenting, bringing a value of up to 5 billion VND; the initiative "High-quality concrete tiles for urban sidewalks" is widely applied in urban company units nationwide; the initiative "Driverless aircraft system automatically detecting cracks on the surface of concrete bridge girders" has been registered for patenting, bringing high economic value to businesses.
Phenikaa University with Smart autonomous Robocoding Solution and Comprehensive Coordination System for Factory Environment, warehouses and libraries is exported to Korea, Luxembourg and applied at Samsung Thai Nguyen.
Hue University with the " application of AI and IoT technology in the development of Automatic Robots" worth up to 5 billion VND, applied and transferred technology to many units; "Instructions for screening, diagnosis and treatment of high blood pressure in pregnant women, preeclampsia and eclampsia" brings a profit value of 5 billion VND...
