On the afternoon of March 19, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to announce decisions on merging departments, offices, appointing officials of the Provincial Federation of Labor, ending the activities of industry unions and establishing block unions.
Accordingly, the departments and offices under the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor will be merged, leaving 3 departments and offices. 5 industry unions (Provincial Civil Servants' Union, Provincial Education Trade Union, Health Trade Union, Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, Industry and Trade Trade Trade Union) will also end their activities. Instead, a new Party Committee Trade Union and a Trade Union of the People's Committee of Tien Giang province were established.
Regarding personnel work, Mr. Nguyen Trung Tan - Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial Health Trade Union - was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee Trade Union.
Appointed Mr. Tran Van Hai - Head of the Organization - Inspection Committee - to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of the Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee.
Appointed Ms. Vo Thi My - Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union - to hold the position of Head of the Organization and Inspection Committee of the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor.
Appointed Ms. Truong Thi Thuy Linh - Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations - to hold the position of Head of the Department of Professional Affairs of the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung - Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus is carried out according to the regulations and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Project of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor on the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus of the Provincial Federation of Labor and industry unions.
In the coming time, Mr. Hung suggested that the leaders of the departments and offices after the merger need to carry out the ideological work of cadres well, maintain internal solidarity, develop specific and clear working regulations, assign specific and clear tasks, evaluate the capacity and promote the strengths of each cadre.
