On February 7, at An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. (Binh Hoa Industrial Park, An Giang province), An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society and the company's grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) to organize the Spring Voluntary Blood Donation Program 2026, attracting a large number of union members, workers, and laborers to participate.
As a result, the program received 134 units of blood, supplementing blood sources to serve emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities in the province. This is a practical and meaningful activity organized right from the first days of the new year, showing the spirit of compassion and responsibility for the community of the working class.
To encourage and motivate workers to participate in blood donation, the grassroots trade union of An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. has awarded each union member and worker participating in blood donation 1 voucher worth 100,000 VND to shop at the company's convenience store, contributing to creating motivation for the voluntary blood donation movement at the enterprise to spread more widely.
Many union members and workers expressed their joy when participating in the extremely meaningful voluntary blood donation program. Thereby, spreading more strongly the value of the spirit of mutual affection, responsibility to the community right in their working environment.
Mr. Vo Thanh Nha - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. said that voluntary blood donation is an activity that the grassroots trade union maintains regularly, organizing 3 to 4 times a year, attracting the positive response of a large number of union members and workers. Through this, it not only contributes to helping patients but also contributes to building the cultural beauty and social responsibility in the working class.
Responding to the Spring 2026 Voluntary Blood Donation Program, to date, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation has coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society and grassroots trade unions in the province to organize many blood donation drives, receiving over 550 units of blood. The collected blood has been and is making an important contribution to meeting the needs of treatment and emergency care at medical facilities, especially during the period after the Lunar New Year.
The Spring 2026 voluntary blood donation program at An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. continues to contribute to spreading the message of love and sharing among workers, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere right from the beginning of the new year, actively contributing to social security activities in An Giang province.
