TKV sends 15 personnel to Australia to learn English and mine manager

Quang Ninh - Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV) sent 15 staff to Australia to learn English and manage mining enterprises within 6 months.

This concentrated course starts tomorrow (February 17, 2025) to July 25, 2025, at Queensland University, Australia.

These 15 trainees were selected by TKV from subsidiaries and units under the Group to participate in the English and Modern Mining Business Administration training course for the 2024-2025 school year.

The modern English and Business Administration training course is organized in 2 phases; phase 1 students are trained and fostered in English for 3 months at Vinacomin Business Administration - from October 21, 2024 to January 14, 2025; phase 2 students continue to be fostered in English and knowledge of modern mining business administration at Western Australia University.

At the meeting with 15 students before leaving for Australia, General Director of TKV Vu Anh Tuan requested that students strive to study; in addition to improving foreign language proficiency, professional knowledge in class needs to be maximized in self-study through social activities; comply with regulations, build the image of TKV and Vietnam among international friends.

General Director Vu Anh Tuan said that this is a valuable opportunity not only for learners to improve their English proficiency and professional qualifications, but also to experience, accumulate international experience and develop themselves.

The Group has high expectations for the learning results of the staff and trainees after the course to be applied and improve their management capacity at enterprises, contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnam Coal - Mineral Industries.
