On May 15, Lao Dong Newspaper, the Vietnam Bar Federation and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) completed the signing of a cooperation agreement to organize the 2026 Legal Consulting Program for workers.
Accordingly, the 3 parties will coordinate to provide legal advice to about 3,000 workers, expected to take place at the closing ceremony of Workers' Month 2026 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held in Ho Chi Minh City around mid-June 2026.
According to the plan, in the program, lawyers of the Vietnam Bar Federation, trade union officials of the Legal Consulting Center of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation will directly advise on labor law, trade union law, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and employment for workers through legal situations integrated in comedy plays performed on stage.
In particular, workers participating in answering legal situations will receive worthy rewards.
In addition, 20 other lawyers from the Vietnam Bar Federation also provided legal advice in other fields to workers in need at direct consulting tables located within the program's premises.
According to Standing Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lao Dong Newspaper Nguyen Duc Thanh, the organization of this program aims to contribute to the good implementation of Directive No. 58-CT/TW of the Secretariat "On strengthening the Party's leadership in propaganda, political, ideological, and legal education for workers in the new situation" and affirm the role of the Vietnam Trade Union organization and the Vietnam Bar Federation in propaganda, dissemination, and legal education for workers.
