On the morning of April 15, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized the opening ceremony of a training class on legal advice and legal support for trade union legal consultants in the area.

The training class focuses on the main contents including: Identifying the security situation of workers and handling issues arising "hot spots" in labor relations; procedures for handling violations of social insurance laws, social insurance debt; updating basic contents of the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, Social Insurance, occupational safety and health; consulting, dialogue, negotiation, mediation and dispute resolution skills.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the training class aims to improve the capacity of the team directly protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers in the context of increasingly complex labor relations.

According to the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, in the context that Thanh Hoa has over 20,000 businesses and more than 300,000 workers, labor relations are increasingly diverse and complex. The impact from economic fluctuations, reduced orders, and increased costs are creating great pressure on both businesses and workers, posing a potential risk of disputes and collective work stoppages.
Also according to Dr. Luong Trong Thanh, practice shows that many cases arise not from major conflicts but from lack of information, lack of dialogue and lack of situation handling skills. Therefore, trade union organizations need to strongly shift from passivity to proactive forecasting, consulting, dialogue and problem handling right from the grassroots level.
The training class aims at three main goals: Updating basic legal knowledge; training core skills such as consulting, listening, dialogue, negotiation, mediation; and at the same time forming trade union activity thinking in a proactive, professional, and substantive direction.
Notably, the program is designed to be closely linked to reality, through specific situations at businesses, helping students improve their ability to handle "real things - real people - real situations".
The Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation requested trainees to actively exchange and share experiences, and proactively learn to effectively apply them to practical work.

At the training, nearly 60 trainees who are grassroots trade union officials were trained by experts in theory as well as directly implemented practical situations to equip and consolidate knowledge and experience to serve the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
Through the training class, the Provincial Labor Federation expects to build a team of trade union consultants with solid expertise and skills, contributing to maintaining stable labor relations and supporting sustainable business development.
