Organize emergency drug screening tests for workers

Phạm Cừ |

Mao Khe Coal Company - TKV has organized unexpected drug screening tests for workers before the production shift.

This activity shows the unit's high determination in realizing the goal of building "no-drug businesses".

After 2 inspections, the Company took samples for testing for nearly 150 workers working in shift 1. These are randomly selected workers from the Exploitation, Tunneling and Transportation units throughout the Company. The process of taking samples and rapid testing of 4 drugs was carried out strictly, in accordance with technical procedures.

To ensure objectivity and transparency, testing work is closely monitored by medical staff of the Personnel Organization Department, the Security Department, along with representatives of the Trade Union and the Company's Youth Union. Sampling takes place quickly and unexpectedly but still ensures that it does not affect the shift handover time and production pace of the workshops.

This screening activity is part of the Company's 2026 periodic and unscheduled inspection plan, aimed at strictly implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TU of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, directives of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee and the Company's Party Committee on promoting drug prevention and control. The key objective is to proactively detect and prevent the risk of drug use early and remotely, thereby ensuring absolute labor safety and security and order at the unit.

According to the plan, the Company will continue to organize many surprise screenings at workshops and departments until December 2026. In parallel with inspection measures, the Company also continues to promote propaganda, education, and mobilization of officials, party members and employees to strictly comply with the law, resolutely handle violations, towards a civilized, safe and sustainable working environment.
