Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, said that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has launched many practical and effective movements, closely linked to professional tasks. Thanks to that, hundreds of research topics, technical innovation initiatives, and useful solutions have been registered and applied in practice, bringing clear socio-economic efficiency.
In particular, in the period of 2020 - 2025, many outstanding collective and individual examples have appeared, being the core of the emulation movement. The 25 collectives and 167 individuals honored at today's conference are vivid evidence of the spirit of creativity, overcoming difficulties, daring to think, daring to do of workers in the Science and Technology industry," said Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong.
In order for the patriotic emulation movement and reward work of employees to truly become a strong driving force, Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong suggested that trade unions at all levels in the industry focus on implementing 5 key tasks well.
Continue to thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation; concretize the Directives and Resolutions of the Party, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ministry of Science and Technology on emulation and reward work. The emulation movement needs to be launched regularly and continuously, associated with the political goals, tasks and key programs of the industry.
Innovation of content and methods of organizing emulation movements. Each movement must have clear criteria, specific targets, timely preliminary and final summaries.
