Among the 95 workers with outstanding achievements in production labor, many contributions to the work of building the Party and organizing the Vietnam Trade Union recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Trinh Xuan Hao, Head of the Electricity - Power FPU Dai Hung 01 operated by the Domestic Petroleum Management Branch (PVEP-POC) is a typical figure. He is also one of the 10 outstanding people among the 95 party members.
Mr. Hao has been working at PVEP-POC since 2007 as an electrician. With the spirit of learning, after 5 years, he was appointed Head of the Electricity Department. Working on a drilling rig not only requires solid expertise but also requires a high sense of responsibility, because this is a risky working environment, always with the potential risk of fire and explosion, but under the guidance and guidance of Mr. Hao, the technicians in charge of electricity on Gian Dai Hung 01 have operated the power system safely and effectively, ensuring continuity in oil and gas exploitation activities.
Due to the nature of the work on the drilling rig, each shift lasts 21 consecutive days. Far from home, far from home, combined with the harshness of the offshore climate, requires each person to make continuous efforts. "But it is also the harshness that has trained oil and gas workers, including me" - Mr. Hao said. That working environment requires strict discipline and a sense of solidarity in a family.
Mr. Trinh Xuan Hao's most sacred memory is being admitted to the Party on the drilling rig in the middle of the ocean, where he devoted his intelligence and strength day and night. Mr. Hao is always highly responsible for his work; dynamic, creative, daring to think, daring to do, flexible in performing tasks.
Those qualities that already existed in Mr. Hao were further fostered when he became a party member after the admission ceremony was held right on the drill rig. The sacred moment of speaking the oath under the Party flag that year was always in Mr. Hao's heart and mind, urging him to be an example and take the lead in all activities.
Mr. Hao said that with 21 days of working and living together on the drilling rig, Party activities have many advantages because of their closeness. In particular, many resolutions and programs disseminated at the Party cell activities were deployed and applied on the drilling rig. Mr. Hao confided that becoming a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam is an important milestone in his career.
Joining the Party's ranks is both an honor and a source of pride for him because the Communist Party of Vietnam is not only a political organization, leading in all aspects but also a place to help him cultivate, practice, and mature both ideologically and professionally. As a Party member and an engineer in the Oil and Gas industry, I always think I need to do something to constantly progress, contribute to the collective and to the development of the country - this is what Mr. Hao believes.
From the job position and responsibility of a Party member and Party Cell member, in addition to encouraging employees to promote innovative initiatives, Mr. Trinh Xuan Hao also constantly researches and actively improves at work. Actively respond to and actively participate in the movement to practice thrift and fight waste; participate in professional courses, self-study to improve knowledge to serve practical work. In addition, Mr. Hao is always conscious of summarizing and drawing experience from his work process to further improve his expertise.
One of Mr. Hao's initiatives is "Converting 6.6KV power cables from RGT-B gas turbine generators to RGT-A" to solve the cost-saving problem. The result of saving about 453,600 USD... Every time I complete a safe shift, every time an initiative is successfully applied, I feel more in love with my job. Not only because of income, but also because I feel like I am contributing something meaningful to the Oil and Gas industry, to the Fatherland, Mr. Hao confided.
In Mr. Hao, his colleagues always clearly see the exemplary and leading role of Party members in all work and activities; respect, be receptive, listen to everyone's opinions and suggestions to adjust their words and actions; well implement the principle of democratic centralism. From the spirit and responsibility of party members, Mr. Trinh Xuan Hao constantly cooperates, guides, and helps comrades and colleagues; always has a receptive attitude in receiving and overcoming shortcomings.
In addition, Mr. Hao's efforts to learn from the experiences of leaders, friends and colleagues and the experiences from his own practical work are also bright spots for everyone to follow. In a conversation with us, Mr. Hao always mentioned being admitted to the Party right on the drilling rig as a great honor for him and for the past 10 years he has always believed in the Party, constantly improving himself with the motto "Aspiration - Intelligence - Professional - Loyalty".
Also one of the 10 outstanding people, the highlight of Ms. H'Chuyen Nie's 10 years as a worker at Team 2, Cuor Dang Farm, under the Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company Branch. At work, Ms. H'Chuyen Nie diligently studies to improve her expertise and effectively applies it in practice.
Her initiative " applying 4 basic building techniques" is a synthesis of experiences accumulated during the working process". In the spirit of having a rubber garden thrive, not only skills and knowledge are needed but also passion. Because the time to plant new trees is the most difficult, it is necessary to closely monitor it to have a suitable care plan. Therefore, many workers spend more time in the rubber garden than with their families.
Not only did she do a good job, as a party member since 2018, Ms. H'Chuyen Nie also actively disseminated the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to union members. She also directly propagated and clarified the plots and tricks of hostile forces so that other workers could understand and not listen to bad people. Thereby contributing to maintaining the great national unity bloc...

The work of developing Party members among workers is one of the important tasks that the Trade Unions at all levels have actively implemented to affirm and promote the role of the Trade Union in building the Party and the political system. For many terms, the Trade Union has always built a target of developing party members among union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers as an important annual political task.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Kien - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, for the 2018 - 2023 term, the Trade Unions at all levels have introduced more than 700,000 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of training and admission, an increase of 1.8 times compared to the 2013 - 2018 term. Of which, nearly 400,000 outstanding union members have been admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam, an increase of 1.4 times compared to the 2013 - 2018 term. In 2024, the Trade Unions at all levels introduced 158,813 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of training and admission.
