A turning point from passion
In 2011, when she was in her 4th year of university, Ms. Nguyen Cam Nhung was honored to be in the ranks of the Party.
Previously, the Nung ethnic girl from Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province had a long history of studying, improving, and striving. Not only studying well, Cam Nhung also actively participates in teamwork. In 2012, Cam Nhung was honored to receive the January Star Award from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.
After graduating, in June 2013, Cam Nhung joined the Department of Fine Arts and Communications Joint Stock Company. Starting as a sales staff, Cam Nhung has held many positions, sometimes working as a store manager.
Regarding the fate of a girl who studied engineering but switched to books and textbooks, Cam Nhung shared: "I studied engineering but have been passionate about reading since I was a child, my parents, especially my mother, a teacher, have taught me the inspiration for books, so when I work in the book industry, I find a lot of joy".
However, from liking feature books to working in the book industry, it is a process that requires learning more knowledge and skills. Many hardships, difficulties, and sometimes feelings of discouragement, but Cam Nhung shared: When I see children holding books in their hands, I feel like I have spread my passion for discovering knowledge to them.
Currently, in addition to "acting as" a retail sales department employee, Ms. Nguyen Cam Nhung is also a member of the Party Cell of the Fine Arts and Communications Joint Stock Company.
"Never be afraid of difficulties"
Mr. Pham Van Thang - Party Cell Secretary, Director of Fine Arts and Communications Joint Stock Company assessed Party member Nguyen Cam Nhung as such.
"Comrade Nhung has worked at the company for more than 10 years, having held many different positions, the highest position is the head store manager in terms of both expertise, party work, and union work, he is very active and always completes his work well. In particular, he never struggles. Cam Nhung is also loved and trusted by colleagues for her harmony in all relationships, said Mr. Pham Van Thang.
To mature as she is today, Ms. Cam Nhung constantly strives and tries hard at work. Simply put, she is an "amateur", so she always realizes that if she does not try, she will not keep up with the work and will not be able to reap success.
During peak school seasons, Ms. Cam Nhung often works from 7am to 10am, even working overtime all night to increase the warehouse in time, supporting books to go to provinces in time to distribute for opening...
Both "red" and "specialty", Ms. Cam Nhung achieved excellent results in round 1 of the "Learning about the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work" contest in 2018 organized by the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training; achieved the title of "super warrior" of the 2024 issuance campaign of the Fine Arts and Communications Joint Stock Company; from 2018 - 2021, classified party members who completed their tasks well; in 2022 and 2023, achieved the title of party member who completed their tasks excellently...
Sharing about being selected to commend outstanding workers as members of the Communist Party of Vietnam for the first time in 2025 organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Cam Nhung could not hide her happiness: I was extremely happy and surprised to receive this news before Tet. I felt very honored and immediately called the family to inform them. My mother is very happy and proud.
