On July 24, a delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) led by Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Vice President, came to offer incense and pay respects to revolutionary predecessors, heroic martyrs, and former leaders of the VGCL at Mai Dich Cemetery.
This is one of the activities of the VGCL on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), expressing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", remembering the great contributions of heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Also attending were representatives of leaders of departments and units directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; trade unions of departments and units directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Youth Union of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; delegates of leaders of the Hanoi Labor Federation; trade union officials, union members of the Capital.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully offered incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate and express their gratitude to senior leaders and outstanding children of the country who dedicated their lives to the ideals and revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
