On the morning of December 3, the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce the decision of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) on recognizing the results of the election of additional members of the Executive Committee, members of the Standing Committee and the position of Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term.
The conference was attended by Ms. Giang Thi Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - and representatives of leaders of socio-political organizations in Lao Cai province.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Giang Thi Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province - highly appreciated the working process and outstanding contributions of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem.
The Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary believes that with her rich practical experience, innovative thinking and close working style, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem will quickly integrate and start working right away, promote a sense of responsibility to lead the Lao Cai Trade Union to successfully complete its functions and tasks, while creating a new mark in trade union activities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem shared: In my new position, I promise to maintain political courage, dedication, enthusiasm, responsibility, solidarity with the Provincial Federation of Labor to lead and direct all levels of trade unions in the province to be proactive, adapt, and innovate the content and methods of operation.
Continue to improve the organization and apparatus; focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; do a good job of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; seriously and effectively implement "3 near" (5 right), "4 no"; strengthen inspection, supervision, rewards, strict discipline, do not avoid collisions, do not chase after achievements".
Key tasks, first of all in December, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor focuses on successfully organizing the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Focus on taking good care of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026; focus on successfully organizing the provincial-level "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" program in 2026.
Previously, to ensure personnel work and timely leadership and direction of trade union activities, especially the direction of grassroots trade union congresses and the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, on November 26, 2025, the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to elect additional Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Chairman position.
With 100% of the votes, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem was elected as President of the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term.
