On August 5, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the leadership of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just coordinated with the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to organize a conference to exchange experiences on Party building in enterprises and trade union finance work.
At the conference, leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation provided general information on the situation of trade union organization and activities in the area. Currently, Thanh Hoa has about 320,000 union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers; of which about 200,000 union members work at foreign-invested enterprises (FDI).
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation shared many experiences in Party building work at enterprises, such as proactively creating sources to develop party members; innovating the work of fostering awareness of the Party; strengthening coordination between the Trade Union organization and local Party committees and enterprises; deploying the model "The Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union is the Secretary of the Party Cell".
In the first 6 months of 2026, Thanh Hoa Trade Union levels introduced 737 outstanding union members to Party organizations for consideration and training; 346 union members were admitted to the Party and 3 Party cells were established in enterprises.
According to Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, Thanh Hoa trade union levels always identify developing union members, building trade union organizations and participating in Party building as tasks with close relationships and mutual support. Trade unions are not only representative organizations, caring for workers but also "incubators" of outstanding union members, through emulation movements and trade union activities to discover and nurture positive factors, and introduce them to Party committees for consideration and Party admission. This is a way that has created a stable source of Party member development, contributing to enhancing the leadership role of Party organizations in enterprises.
Through the conference, it has contributed to strengthening coordination and sharing experiences between the Labor Federations of the two provinces, in order to improve the quality of trade union activities, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
