On the afternoon of February 6, a working delegation led by Mr. Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee visited and presented Tet gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to workers in difficult circumstances at Thanh Chuong Group Joint Stock Company (Nghe An).
Also attending were Mr. Tran Nhat Minh - full-time National Assembly delegate of the XV term of Nghe An province; Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; local authorities, business leaders and grassroots trade unions.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Hoang Minh Hieu emphasized that caring for the material and spiritual life of workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, is always a consistent policy of the Party, State and National Assembly. He wished union members and workers to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, feel secure in sticking with businesses, comply well with the law, and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality and the country.
Today's gifts, although not large in material terms, are affection, sharing, and encouragement for workers to celebrate Tet warmly and more fulfillingly," Mr. Hieu shared.
At the program, 50 workers in difficult circumstances were presented with Tet gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Each gift included 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND. The activity took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, spreading the spirit of "leaving no union members or workers behind" during the Lunar New Year.
Business representatives expressed their gratitude for the concern of central and provincial leaders and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; and affirmed that they will continue to accompany and better care for the lives, jobs and welfare of workers in the coming time.
