On January 16, the Tien Giang Provincial Health Sector Trade Union organized the handover of the Trade Union Shelter to union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances.
At the ceremony, the Tien Giang Provincial Health Trade Union presented a Union Shelter to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhanh, a member of the Tan Phuoc District Medical Center's grassroots trade union.
Ms. Nhanh’s house has an area of over 90 square meters, with a construction cost of over 147 million VND. Of which, the Trade Union Shelter Fund of Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor supported 50 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Trang - Vice President of Tien Giang Provincial Labor Federation - said that the "Union Shelter" housing program has become one of the social activities with widespread influence, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and affection, affirming the true "home" value of the Labor Union organization. The program has truly brought practical results, contributing positively to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and realizing the dream of settling down for workers.
Vice President of Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Ngo Thi Thuy Trang congratulated Ms. Nhanh's family on their new house; at the same time, she also hoped that she would continue to strive to improve her life, save up to renovate the house to be more spacious and actively work at the unit, continuing to be attached to the Trade Union organization.
Sharing the joy of receiving the "Union Shelter", Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhanh said that because her family's income, in addition to her main salary, does not have any other source of income, it is only enough to cover daily living expenses, so there is not enough money to build a house. When she learned that the Union supported some money to build a house, she felt very happy.
