In 2024, the provincial Trade Union promptly coordinated with relevant agencies to resolve 4 work stoppages, with about 2,000 workers (CNLD) collectively stopping work at 4 enterprises in the area. The reason was that the workers did not agree with the changes in regulations on making timekeeping applications, changing the way of calculating output, timekeeping, paying wages on the occasion of Lunar New Year, overtime hours, the attitude of managers, etc.
With the participation of the Trade Union, sectors and local leaders, the Board of Directors of enterprises organized dialogues, negotiated and agreed to resolve a number of recommendations from workers. After that, workers returned to work stably.

"I suggest that the trade unions at the grassroots level directly organize diverse and flexible forms of care, focusing on the grassroots, paying attention to union members and workers working in industrial parks and clusters; at enterprises facing difficulties, having orders cut, production scale reduced, temporarily suspended... leading to many union members and workers having their working hours reduced, losing their jobs.
In particular, priority is given to union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, reduced working hours, or lost their jobs; union members and workers who have not had the opportunity to return home for Tet for many years; those who stay at their units and enterprises to work, produce, and do business during Tet, following the motto that all union members and workers have Tet" - said Mr. Le Minh Hung.
