Taking care of Tet for union members and workers every year is about 450 billion VND
Dong Nai province currently has 57 industrial parks established with a workforce of 680,000 people, including imported workers and local workers.
According to the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, with a large number of workers working in industrial parks and concentrated industrial clusters, this is a force that plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the province. Therefore, the work of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been focused on by all levels of the Trade Union in Dong Nai province.

In the period from 2023 to present, the provincial Trade Union at all levels has synchronously and drastically implemented many solutions to effectively perform the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
Social housing support activities are maintained, with dozens of cases confirmed to be eligible to buy or rent houses at projects for workers. The Social Fund of the Provincial Federation of Labor has supported the construction and repair of many "Union Shelters", along with dozens of cases of workers who have had work accidents and serious illnesses with a total amount of hundreds of millions of VND.
Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Quoc Dung said that Dong Nai identified the focus on building social housing and cultural - educational - medical institutions to serve union members and workers. The Resolution for the 2025-2030 term of the Provincial Party Committee also stipulates the construction of at least 65,000 social housing units out of the total demand for 200,000 social housing units, ensuring workers' lives.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year, Trade Unions at all levels have organized many practical care programs such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Tet Reunion Train", "Union Tet Market", allocating tens of thousands of gifts from the Trade Union and the provincial budget with a total budget of about 450 billion VND per year. Activities to support vehicles to return home for Tet are also focused on, with thousands of free or discounted bus, train and plane tickets.
The programs in response to Workers' Month and Workers' Safety and Health Action Month are combined with activities to visit and give gifts to workers in difficulty, those who have suffered from work-related accidents and serious illnesses, thereby contributing to affirming the representative and caring role of the Trade Union organization, creating trust and attachment of union members and workers to the organization.
Protecting workers in cases of 118 lawsuits in court
In addition, the Dong Nai Trade Union has maintained legal consultancy regularly and flexibly in many forms, thereby supporting the drafting of petitions for more than 1,200 cases, contributing to promptly resolving workers' problems in labor relations.

In addition, the work of representing and participating in litigation has always received timely attention and achieved high efficiency. From 2023 to present, the provincial Trade Union at all levels has participated in 206 cases, including 118 cases of winning lawsuits, protecting the legitimate rights of workers with a total amount of more than 5.5 billion VND.
The work of propagating and disseminating the law is focused on, with dozens of training courses each year, attracting thousands of union officials and workers to attend, contributing to raising legal awareness, preventing disputes and building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
From July 1, 2025 to now, Dong Nai has also established 7 new grassroots unions with 1,494 union members, including 4 grassroots unions in industrial parks and industrial clusters with 213 union members and 3 grassroots unions outside industrial parks and industrial clusters with 1,281 union members.
As of September 30, 2025, the whole province of Dong Nai has 2 Corporation Trade Unions and 2,298 grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions with 720,530 union members/732,615 workers in places where there are trade union organizations, reaching a union membership rate of 98.35%.
