Decree 219/2025/ND-CP stipulates the rights of foreign workers working in Vietnam. In which, Article 31 stipulates the procedure for revoking labor licenses.
Article 31. Procedures for revoking labor licenses
1. In the case specified in Clause 1, Article 30 of this Decree, within 15 days from the effective date of the labor license, the employer shall revoke the labor license to submit it to the competent authority that issued the labor license with a written report on the revocation case. In case of non-recoverability, the reason must be clearly stated.
2. In the case specified in Clauses 2 and 3, Article 30 of this Decree, the competent authority that issued the labor license shall issue a decision to revoke the labor license, send a notice to the employer requesting to return the labor license and the Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security) for information and coordination in management.
According to Article 1 of Decree 219, this Decree stipulates the following articles and clauses of the Labor Code for foreign workers working in Vietnam: Conditions, order, procedures for granting, re-granting, renewing, revoking labor licenses, certificates of confirmation not subject to granting labor licenses for foreign workers working in Vietnam according to Article 157 of the Labor Code and foreign workers working in Vietnam not subject to granting labor licenses according to Clauses 1, 2 and 9, Articles 154 of the Labor Code.
