In particular, Article 20 of Decree 219/2025/ND-CP stipulates the dossier for requesting a work permit for some cases that have been granted a work permit as follows:
Article 20. Application for work permits for some cases that have been granted work permits.
1. In case a foreign employee has been granted a valid labor license and needs to work for another employer in the same job position and field of work, he/she must carry out the procedures for granting a labor license. The application for a work permit includes:
a) Confirmation from the employer about the current employment of foreign workers;
b) Documents specified in Clauses 1, 3, 5 and 6, Article 18 of this Decree;
c) copy of the issued labor license;
d) Documents proving that the foreign employee is a manager or executive director.
2. In case a foreign employee has been granted a valid labor license and needs to change his/her job position or form of employment stated in the labor license but does not change the employer, he/she must complete the procedures for granting a new labor license. The application for a work permit includes:
a) Documents specified in Clauses 1, 3, 5, Article 18 of this Decree;
b) Documents proving the job position as prescribed in Article 19 of this Decree in case of job change;
c) Documents proving the form of work as prescribed in Clause 6, Article 18 of this Decree in case of change of working form;
d) copy of the issued labor license.
3. For foreign workers whose labor licenses have been extended and who want to continue working for employers in the same job position and field of work, they must carry out procedures for granting labor licenses. The application for a work permit includes:
a) Documents specified in Clauses 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6, Article 18 of this Decree;
b) copy of the issued labor license;
c) Documents proving that the foreign employee is a manager or executive director.
