Each shelter is worth 70 million VND
During the Workers' Month 2025, the Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province) presented 7 Trade Union Shelters to workers with housing difficulties, each Shelter worth 70 million VND from the contributions of the company's employees.
In addition, the Company's Trade Union traveled hundreds of kilometers to the workers' houses to give shelter. On June 12 and 13, the Trade Union and the company, together with the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, visited An Giang and Hau Giang provinces (now Can Tho City) to present the Trade Union Shelter to the families of the two workers living in the locality.
According to the company's union, this is an important social security program of the union organization, with profound significance in supporting union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances. The program not only helps union members and workers have a stable home, but also demonstrates the mutual love, affection and solidarity between the Trade Union organization and union members and workers.
Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. has been operating in Dong Nai province for about 30 years and has now developed strongly with 3 locations. Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared that the company has about 40,000 employees with 99% of union members, here the company's Trade Union always finds ways to take better care of the lives of employees, creating a comfortable working environment for employees to feel that the workplace is a "happy company". Each year, the company builds 10 Trade Union Shelters for workers.
The meaningful program shows the concern of the trade union organization
The Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, An Vien Commune, Dong Nai Province) - is also a bright spot in taking care of the Trade Union Shelter for workers. To date, the company's trade union has built 43 Trade Union Shelters.
According to the company's union, the program to build a Union Shelter for workers in difficult circumstances, especially those with serious illnesses, raising children alone or being the main breadwinner in the family due to the inability of their husbands/wives to work.
Currently, the union is continuing to implement this meaningful program for workers with urgent needs for housing and facing housing difficulties, including the following cases: Workers have land but cannot build houses; Workers have seriously degraded houses but cannot repair them, support funding is 60 million VND/house. In addition, the union can support additional lending to complete the construction.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Social Fund of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor decided to build Trade Union Shelters for 8 cases of workers with housing difficulties, and supported the repair of 2 cases. At the same time, the Social Fund of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor also supported difficulties and work-related accidents for 2 cases. The total amount of support for the above contents is 466 million VND.
A representative of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor said that the program to support Trade Union Shelters is humane and has practical significance, contributing to realizing the dream of settling down for union members and workers in difficult circumstances. The shelters handed over are a source of encouragement and motivation for union members to continue to strive, overcome difficulties in life, and complete assigned tasks well.
