According to Article 75 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024 (effective from July 1, 2025), one of the cases of temporary suspension of monthly pension benefits will occur when the beneficiary's information cannot be verified as prescribed in Point c, Clause 2, Article 11 of this Law.
Point c, Clause 2, Article 11 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024 stipulates: Every year, beneficiaries of social insurance regimes through personal accounts opened at banks are responsible for coordinating with social insurance agencies or service organizations authorized by social insurance agencies to verify information that is eligible for social insurance regimes.
Thus, if the person receiving pension through a personal account opened at a bank does not cooperate with a social insurance agency or a service organization authorized by a social insurance agency to verify information that is eligible for pension, the pension will be temporarily suspended.
The continued payment of pensions, including pensions for the period not yet received, will be carried out when the information has been verified according to regulations.
