Comprehensive health care
Speaking at the opening ceremony at "Workers' Health Day - for a Healthy Vietnam in 2026", Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), said that the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031, has opened a new journey with many expectations and big goals.
One of the core, consistent and guiding messages for all actions is: "Taking workers as the center, taking the satisfaction, happiness and health of union members as a measure for all activities of the Trade Union organization".
According to Ms. Xuong, workers are the biggest asset of businesses, the pioneering force directly creating material wealth for society. However, before the pressures of modern life, many brothers and sisters, for livelihood, because of difficult circumstances, forget to take care of themselves.
Today's program is not only simply aimed at medical examination and treatment, but also launches long-term and comprehensive health care for all workers" - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized.

Within the framework of the program, there are activities such as: general health check-ups, specialist consultations, health care consultations, experiential activities, health education communication,...
At each station, workers are directly examined, consulted and guided by specialist doctors on health care for common diseases during labor such as respiratory diseases, muscle and joint pain, skin problems and many other non-communicable diseases.
Female worker Le Thi Mong Thu (44 years old, Can Tho City) shared: "My family's circumstances are difficult, and my income is unstable, so I do not have enough conditions for regular medical examinations. Thanks to today's event, I was visited and asked about my illness, and also received some health care products whenever I cough or have a cold.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nhien (Can Tho City) expressed that as a garment worker, women often encounter respiratory and neck, shoulder, and nape diseases. At the program, doctors gave her advice on scientific lifestyle, guiding the right working posture to avoid future diseases.
Spreading love
In order to increase the meaning of social security, the organizers prepared 100 gifts for workers in difficult circumstances, affected by illnesses, labor accidents or with special family circumstances.

Receiving the gift in her hand, Ms. Le Thi Kim Ta (born in 1978, Can Tho City) emotionally said: "I am raising my elderly mother and young child to go to school, unfortunately suffering from a serious illness, so the family's economy is struggling. Today's support is very practical, adding motivation for me to rise up.

Continuing the program activities, the organizing committee also organized a launching ceremony to register for tissue and organ donation with the theme "Giving love - extending life" and was responded to by many workers and laborers.

Donating tissues and organs is a priceless gift for life. Each application will contribute to spreading a humane message, connecting loving hearts and adding hope to patients who need treatment.
